SFCCC, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Chinese language and culture to Bay Area youth, relies on your generosity. Without support from the government or Oakland Unified School District, we depend on tuition and community donations to support its operations. Help us continue our mission.
Core values that the school emphasizes so students can become respectful and responsible members of our Asian community.
Respect is the cornerstone of our community, ensuring every voice is heard and every culture honored. It’s about mutual recognition and creating a welcoming space for all, reflected in every smile, listening ear, and open door within our school.
Our actions are guided by Righteousness, embodying fairness and moral integrity. It’s about standing up for what’s right, acknowledging our mistakes, and committing to improvement, teaching students to act with justice and honesty.
Integrity refers to maintaining high standards of conduct and behavior, not doing things that violate morality and conscience, and displaying integrity and a non-greedy character in handling both public and private affairs, without seeking improper benefits.
Humility allows us to acknowledge our faults and learn from them. This mindset fosters a culture where mistakes are valuable opportunities for growth.
Here are answers to your questions regarding our school. Our staff will be happy to assist you with addressing any other questions.

Weekday Program: Classes run Monday to Friday. For Kindergarten to 5th Grade, class time runs from 3:20 – 5:10 p.m., and for 6th to 9th Grade, class time is from 4:30 – 6:20 p.m. This option offers more frequent class sessions that will develop steady progress for the students.
Weekend Program: Held only on Saturday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., making it a great choice for busy families. However, it requires completing more semesters to match the progress of finishing a typical school year in the weekday program due to fewer classroom hours.
Yes, we teach both Mandarin and Cantonese across all grade levels. For our youngest learners in Kindergarten and 1st Grade, classes focus on either language, allowing you to choose the best fit for your child upon enrollment.
