Expect an exciting summer of Chinese language, hands-on STEM innovation labs, and trips to Oakland Museum of California for art, history and science. In the morning session, campers will learn Chinese through fun conversations and traditional arts and crafts. In the afternoon, students will engage in STEM learning, Legos, math, play sports, and enjoy regular field trips to the Oakland Museum of California.

Our 7-week summer day camp is designed to spark curiosity in a fun, supportive, and dynamic environment. Whether your child is just beginning or already has a foundation in Chinese, our program offers something for everyone: immersive language learning in Cantonese or Mandarin, innovative STEM and Lego design labs led by UC Berkeley mentors, and weekly field trips to the Oakland Museum of California for interactive exploration of art, science, and history.
• Language Learning: Dive into daily immersive sessions in either Cantonese or Mandarin. We focus on conversational fluency and character writing through engaging, age-appropriate methods that meet each child at their learning level.
• Cultural Immersion: Explore the richness of Chinese culture through hands-on experiences—traditional arts and crafts, Chinese songs, and storytelling bring history and heritage to life.
• STEM Innovation Labs: Led by talented undergraduate mentors from UC Berkeley’s Science, Engineering, and Computer Science departments, these labs empower students to explore science and engineering through exciting, hands-on projects.
• Lego Design Labs: Campers will unleash their creativity and learn design thinking as they build imaginative structures and solve challenges using Legos.
• Sports & Play: Physical activity is essential to learning! Campers participate in a range of sports and traditional Chinese games that encourage teamwork, movement, and fun.
• Math & Puzzles: Keep young minds sharp over the summer with engaging math challenges and logic puzzles designed to strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• OMCA Museum Field Trips: Campers will embark on exciting field trips to the Oakland Museum of California where they’ll explore visual art, science, and history across the museum’s expansive seven-acre campus.

• Session Options: Half Day (8:30 AM -12:30 PM or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM) or Full Day (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Fees and Early Bird Discount:
• Fees: $900 (Entire 7-Week Half-Day Camp) ; $1700 (Entire 7-Week Full-Day Camp); $130 per week for a Half-Day Session/ $250 per week for a Full-Day Session
• Register before April 30, 2025 for a tuition discount: $50 off full-day session and $25 off half-day session.
